The Hilton Springfield is located in downtown Springfield, directly across the street from Prairie Capital Convention Center. From U.S. Interstate Highway 55 and Interstate Highway 72 exit 98B - Clearlake Avenue: Drive west to 9th Street and turn left. Drive south to Adams Street and turn right. Hotel is located on the corner of 7th and Adams Street.

Take Amtrak to Springfield!

AmtrakAmtrak is offering a special 20% discount off of adult fares for travel to Springfield, Illinois, for the Governor's Conference on Tourism between February 11 - 15, 2008. Reservations can be booked beginning December 1, 2007 and through February 15, 2008. This rate is good only on the Illinois Funded Trains - Trains 301, 303, 305, 307, 300, 302, 304, and 306. Collectively these trains are known as the Lincoln Service. The discount is not valid on the Texas Eagle.

When booking reservations passengers must reference the "V220" code in order to receive the discount. Reservations can be made on line at www.amtrak.com or by calling 1-800-USA-RAIL after December 1, 2007. Last minute bookings may not receive this discount if the train is nearly sold out.

Passengers can upgrade to Business Class if they pay for the rail fare and the accommodations charge for that service.
